The Friends of the Agua Fria National Monument and the Bureau of Land Management's Agua Fria National Monument are conducting the 10th annual Wet/Dry Mapping event on June 24, 2017. Volunteers will map water resources along the Agua Fria River and tributaries to inventory water resources during the hottest and driest time of year. Data gathered will be compared to previous year's efforts to help understand how water resources are impacted by climate, weather, and water users within the watershed.
Participants this year are encouraged to use iNaturalist to conduct a BioBlitz of biological resources to build a database of these important resources.
