Spider eats fish!

The image on the left is from an excellent observation posted by @wingspanner. It shows an Eastern Osprey holding a Yellowfin Bream in its talons. The right image shows a close-up view of the fish.
Seeing these observations prompted me to take stock of the observations that show fish as prey. I'm sure here are many! The list below shows a single observation of 6 different predator types 'in action'.

And then there was this one where the prey (fish) became the ultimate predator, although at the expense of its own life - https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/21032380

Thank you for the reminder @wamoz. I saw the observation at the time but failed to add it to my predatioin listing. I agree - it's a cracker of an observation. Thanks again.

Hi @kalimata. Thank you very much for letting me know about your two observations, I appreciate that. I've commented on both requesting that you upload the images again as observation of the fishes. That way they can be added to the Australasian Fishes Project and my list of fish predators. :)

Will do @markmcg. I am trying to find one more observation of a Pied Cormorant which was "fishing" and then I'll upload all again as observation of fishes.

Wonderful news @kalimata. Perhaps it's a caching issue but I can't find your new observations. I had the same problem with the newly uploaded observations made by @dentrock. I'd be grateful if you could list the urls. Thank you very much. :)

@markmcg, I tried to put boney fish as you suggested, but the system changed it to ray-finned fish. So I hope someone, more knowledgeable than I am about fish, can name them accurately.

Hi @cubesy. Thank you very much to directing me to the observation of the darter and for adding it as new observation of the fish. Much appreciated. :) I've add the new observation to my list of fish/predator interactions.
