The 2500th observation is a Golden-crowned Sparrow by @jnj2day in northern Eugene. These sparrows seem to be everywhere right now.

We have surpassed 2000 observations in just 19 days, great work everyone.
The lucky observation is a Ruddy Duck I saw yesterday in the seasonal ponds across the street from Fernhill Wetlands.
The last couple days have been beautiful like today. There has been so much bird activity. 219 observations were made covering 84 species, bringing the total to 2,024 observations and 183 species.

I would love to see us make 500 observations today. I'm going to try for 30-50 personally.
An American kestrel perched on a wire is the 1500th observation. The photo was taken in Polk County, by @mnharris
Today was a beautiful day. I unfortunately saw but was unable to photograph a Townsend's Warbler and a Chestnut-backed chickadee. Hopefully we can get a couple more beautiful days this week. Today we added 110 observations totaling 56 species. This brings out total up to 1190 observations and 160 species.

Sorry for the late updates. These last couple days have been mixed weather but this morning it is sunny with a high of 55. Perfect birding weather to look for any individuals blown in by last nights storm.
Over the last 3 days 188 observations were added totaling 88 species. Our total is 1,059 observations and 157 species.
