We have the bird data in (unfortunately no photos). The most found birds were: Kereru (NZ Wood Pigeon) (10), Tui (8), house sparrow (8), dunnock (10).

The fungi people are back in and observing under the microscopes.
The leaf litter event is set to begin.

It's great to see all the action. I hope the first day's been going well. It certainly looks like it.
Thanks, Jon. The Bioblitz was for today only. The observation numbers weren't too bad. We are thinking of holding another in the summer sometime. Thanks by the way for all your help with NatureWatch.
Ah, yes, 24 hours makes more sense. That's traditional for a BioBlitz.
I've got a stack of spreadsheets from the Lincoln and Canterbury Botanical Gardens BioBlitz events from a few years back, plus the results of a few North Island events I got from Peter Buchanan. They'd all be interesting to compare.
I assume you've still got quite a few more things to curate and ID and upload.
Well more specifically 10am to afternoon with some data from previous individual surveys. Still got 3-4 datasets to add. Cheers.
