Share photos of their encounters with plants, animals, and fungi as part of a local snapshot of the park and surrounding area. The goal of the local snapshot is to document biodiversity within the park and nearby region. Over time, this will provide data that can be used to answer scientific questions or provide useful information to decision makers.
Participants can contribute to the local snapshot using the mobile app iNaturalist, which is versioned for Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, and Swedish.
O Park, WildLife, and Recreation nestled in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua is hosting this event at the park. Onsite support team is available to assist participants during this fun activity.
Park entry fee has been waived for observers while all other purchasable activities such as the canopy rides, eco-paintball, and bicycle rentals may remain open. Reservations for camping can be arranged with the organizer. The artisan bakery shall be open from dawn to dusk. Coffee, water, and wifi is available.
