Our UCR Macrosystems research team is documenting pollination at Sagehen Creek Field Station. Please upload any clear photos of any sort of animal - be it an insect or a bird or even a mammal - visiting a flower. In order to document both the plant and the pollinator, submit two observations per pollination event you observe: one for the pollinator and one for the plant, so that both can be identified by the iNaturalist community. For old observations which document pollination but only identify either the plant or the pollinator, you can use the "duplicate" function and then the "edit observation" function to create an observation for the missing partner (pollinator or plant). If this is not possible, you can use the optional "pollination partner guess" field to give your best guess to the missing partner ID. Please use the scientific name if possible, to the level of classification (order, family, genus, etc.) that you are most confident of.
