Elizabeth and I regretfully had to leave Big Bend after an amazing event, but alas, we had to return home. On the way back, of course, we had to stop a bunch. It took about 14 hours to get back to DFW... :)
Monahans Sandhills State Park is a really unique spot. I WISH we could have stayed longer, but it was getting really hot. Such a cool (not temperature-wise) and unique park!
I'll have to work on the ID's for many of these later on. LOTS of new plants and critters for me in this region of Texas. :)
