This is a male, probably just passing through, but we are keeping our eyes out for him. I added two photographs prior to the camera catching the cat and two after and one from a couple of days before during some daylight hours, this may help with judging size.
Update: It appears that this guy lost his battle with humanity. D.O.D. 12/7/14.
Add'l Update: The TPWD Biologist estimated the downed lion at approximately nine years of age and it weighed ~110 pounds.
