I was at the water's edge, stepping closer to get a picture of some ducks. I think this guy was hunting the ducks. I had no idea it was there until it broke cover. I only got this picture because I already had my camera out for the ducks.

Unidentified collared wolf. Sparred with small grizzly over buffalo carcass in Lamar Valley. Tricked graiizley by catching a crow, dropping it, and going to the carcass when the grizzly went after the crow carcass. Much chasing, but no fighting.
