Description
Several of these clumps were in crevices in the midtidal zone. Eggs were same size as salmon eggs, approx 3-5mm.

Description
It looks like the carnivorous Phacellophora camtschatica (Fried Egg Jelly) is covered in juvenile Metacarcinus magister (Dungeness Crab)! Will the jelly eat them?

Description
I think three of these are juvenile splitnose rockfish (not positive) and there is one more I can't ID. These organisms were collected as part of the 2018-2019 NSF Funded Mezo-zooplankton Trophodynamics in the California Current survey (MEZCAL).

Found this little guy swimming with minuscule green plankton (seen throughout the shots, especially at the end). It didn't seem like he was trying to eat them. Taken with an 100 mm lens.
