Read in another report that this species was naturalizing itself in the dunes. I found the exact plant from the previous report. This cactus has large obviate pads with short spines along the edges of the cladode. Spines approximately 1/2 inch. This plant is likely a discarded pad of the very large cultivated cactus in the backyard of the house on the corner. I searched all public accessible areas nearby and did not find any others. What I found was a lot of O. humifusa.
