Description
Very Large Butternut tree. It is on the site of an old house, so it is possible it was planted from nursery stock. The shape of the nuts are slightly different than those from other wild trees in the area (from my experience).
This large tree appears to be the parent of several other much smaller Butternuts nearby. None look to be infected with Butternut canker.

Cultivated Rebecca’s Gold pawpaw I cleft-grafted last year just starting to flower. This small seedling tree now has 12 different named varieties of pawpaws grafted on it. A true “fruit cocktail” tree.
