Perched outside entrance to the USS Hornet museum on a rainy day.
Roughly 20 inches tall.

One of six found in a frozen pond. About seven inches long, with a vent on the underside of the base of its tail.

Description

Found in shady woodland, underneath rock.
Feet and toes had strong grip.
Approximately 6 inches long.

Description

Found on edge of pond water in grass.
Froglet. Had all 4 legs, and could jump and walk.
More homogeneous color than other frogs observed in the immediate area. Had no visible patterns.

Description

Hid from camera under rocks.
Around 3-10 individuals found under every other rock in area.

Description

Observed on coastal trail. Wingspan was about 3-4 feet, individual was about 2 feet tall.

Description

Found in ashy, burnt patch of soil under partially burnt tree. Observed in grassland, within 100 meters of oak woodland. Matched the color of the ground.
Other, lighter colored grasshoppers believed to be of the same species were observed in tall grass ~5 meters away from burnt earth.

I observed what I believe to be the same fungus on this same eucalyptus stump, on the spot where the white residue is, a year ago this week. ~14 inches at its widest
