they would lift their abdomen and shake them, similar to what ive seen aphids do. the eggs were found on a neighboring leaf

Found in leaf litter in a front garden bed when sunlight was limited.

Tiny black beetles buried inside the flowers of Taxandria fragrans. No good photos of the head.

I'm thinking Fire-colored Beetles Family Pyrochroidae.... Genus Pedilus..?
