worn shell fragments and beach sand that half-filled a 20 fluid ounce (1.25 pint, 591 ml) plastic drink bottle. A total of 58 species of mollusks were found. The last photo shows a stone in the aperture behind the "tooth".

Description
We had a second turtle that was also believe was this species. Very distinct pale-yellow tone, un-patterned shell, only a few feet in length/diameter. I am not well-versed in turtles, though.

Description
Presumably a Great Egret x Great Blue Heron Hybrid. I was going through some old trip photos and noticed this guy. Originally assumed Reddish Egret, but the gape length clearly puts this bird in Ardea.
