Description

Interface between dry post oak woodland and xeric dolomite prairie remnant. Possible hybrid between the very abundant P. tenuifolium and the much less abundant P. pilosum—leaves are narrower than typical for P. pilosum, but the stems are distinctly and uniformly pilose, unlike the glabrous stems of P. tenuifolium. Crushed leaves have mint odor, but not as strong as those of P. pilosum.
