A very colorful Violet-green Swallow paused on a picnic table in the campground for a portrait.
Had watched the bear for about 10 minutes before it stumbled upon this elk fawn. Photo was taken moments after the discovery.
2 male Northern Flickers were chasing around each other around like little fighter jets. This is one of the captures of them as they flew by one another.
There are two known locations were the recessive gene is displayed in the yellow-bellied marmot..Yellowstone NP and Mount Massive, CO. I was lucky enough to capture this image as I was descending Colorado's second highest Mountain.
Spotted at in the evening in residential neighborhood in the road. Also spotted deer carcass not far.
