Description
Aethalium: 2,5 x 2 x 0,6 cm pulviné. Hypothalle blanc. Cortex blanc à calcaire granuleux, fragile, s’émiettant facilement. Masse sporale brun-noir. Capillitium hyalin, formé de filaments tubulaires. Pseudo capillitium abondant. Calcaire interne blanc. Spores globuleuses brun-foncé.
- Certains auteurs considèrent F. candida comme une variété de F. septica.
