Description
New county record for Palm Beach County observed in the parking lot on the east side of the B-2 Building of the South Florida Water Management District, 3301 Gun Club Road, West Palm Beach, Florida 33406. Plants have never been seen in fruit at this location due to ongoing maintenance (hand weeding) by landscape crews at the site. However, a division transplanted to a garden produced smooth, fleshy, purplish black fruits (mericarps).

Obviously this isn't an animal itself, but evidence of one.
Some people have suggested a spider or a wasp, but I don't know what would create a chimney while digging a hole in a sandy path in NW Ohio.
I'm sorry I didn't make any estimated measurements or at least put a quarter outside the circle for comparison.
