Was found semi conscious on edge of street by driveway early in am. We used gloves and moved to board for better comfort and to get out of sun. Was picked up by APS Durham. Not sire if it was hit by car, ill, or has end stage rabies. It was breathing but could hardly move.

Not sure of the taxonomy of viruses, but this Toyon (Heteromeles arbutifolia, Rosaceae) seems to be affected by something. I chose the genus Emaravirus because it seems species within it affect other Rosaceae plants.
