Lagoon side of S reef, 3-7m, coral bombies with sand channels between.
Snorkel along fringing reef. Varying turbidity. Good coral cover.
Fringing reef wall at point, overhangs, rubble bottom. 5-11m.
I'm guessing here because the shape is like Thyca cristallina, normally blue and parasite on the Blue Linckia starfish. Could it have moved off the Linckia and changed colour to match the soft coral?
Outside edge of barrier reef down to 30m.

Matuku was hit hard by Cyclone Harold in 2020 with a 6m "tsunami" as it passed. Coral was badly damaged though regrowing in places.
