What

Eastern Water Dragon (Intellagama lesueurii ssp. lesueurii)

Description

On the east side of the Marchant Park gully, toward the north end of that gully, near fence of adjacent soccer field. I call this location "Dragon Alley" because except in the coolest period of the year there are nearly always several dragons out on the grass, on either side of the soccer field fence. I will add that these water dragons are the only really numerous water creature that I see in that wretched gully; whilst noisy miners are the only bird that seems to be "holding on" in Marchant Park in any sort of numbers.
