Habitat rocks in large lake.
Image 1 shows blue-coloured chelae with yellowish tubercles and absence of black bands near tips, and narrow areola (just visible at highest mag).
In image 2 the hook on the ischium of left pereiopod 3 can be seen.
Reports of crayfish (species unspecified) in this SE corner of British Columbia have been made in the popular outdoors press for some time. This non-native (to BC) species may have been introduced to enhance the largemouth bass (another non-native) fishing in some of the other lakes in this area.
