Black nudibranch in very shallow rockpool on low water edge of reef next to Tor in Waiake Beach, Torbay, North Shore, Auckland. We were doing Mm2 but this was just outside one of the squares.
Not sure what this, have a video of it. It moved with a peristaltic motion - kind of like a jellyfish
Seen at low tide at a rocky spot surrounded by sandy beaches. A large number of them in various colours and sizes were actively crawling around out of the water (and moving surprisingly quickly for gastropods).
