A madtom that had a bleeding mouth. I dug a small pond for him so he'd stay alive until his mouth stopped bleeding. While the pond was being dug he was in a bucket full of water. Then he was released back into the stream.

First fish I have caught on Tanago hooks. It was caught in a pool of water not connected to the creek. The studfish was caught on a piece of a green soft plastic lure. There were several mosquitofish in there also.

Description
This bird was found on 16 January 2009 by Bill Rogers from AL. It was present until at least 8 February 2008 and was seen by hundreds of birders from several different states. There were dozens of people there the day I was there. The bird stayed in the distance on the ground the entire day that I was there. This distant photo was digi-scoped through a spotting scope from several hundred yards away. My eBird checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S19411926
Here's a better photo from another iNaturalist contributor from the same location from a couple of days before: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/3145455
