On web of Argiope aurantia female.
Found in Cranes Grove Creek, a mid-sized stream with rifles and pools. It went under water and its body hairs trapped a layer of air. About 2- 2 1/2”
It was stuck in a colander. I helped it escape with no injury by pushing it gently with a grass stalk
Teneral, in partly opened spittle mass on Vicia(?) plant, in open area of deciduous-conifer woodland.
Adult male. Love these.
Tiny enough to comfortably curl up inside a pin-head. Found on oak bark.
little spider rode up there for a while
Fell on to my arm while taking pictures of other spiders. Web located in dead tsuga branch on ground in shaded spot next to open coastal field.
maybe?
Numerous adult females and males were observed in small unstructured webs in open spaces on the underside of a decayed log, located in a riparian area with abundant Acer and Alnus trees.
Species identification is based on the presence of a strongly developed ventral spur on metatarsus 1 (images 2 and 6).
This penultimate male was observed running across the sidewalk. Upon closer inspection, other individuals were observed within webs built in crevices between sidewalk slabs.
Web located within crevice between concrete slabs of sidewalk.
The small spider attacked the larger Formica fusca group worker. Within around 20 seconds the ant was immobilized, and the spider began attaching a silk tether which it used to drag the prey item away.
Under a rock
Consuming a bee. Couldn't get a good shot of the back!
Its amazing that I even saw this spider. If it wasn't for it moving little by little when I was photographing the Wasp I wouldn't have seen it.

Update: This is an undescribed species in or near Admestina - I collected an adult male - observation here
I think this is a juvenile Cheliferoides segmentatus. About 3mm body length. Admestina look pretty similar to me though. I found this one exploring my terra cotta chiminea.
Found when I disturbed leaf litter on my back patio. This mature male is about the size of a pin head. I kept losing sight of him whenever he leapt. Sooooo cute!
Baby field cricket? Found under a stump. It was running around the slugs. Adorable little thing!
Under leaf litter on my back patio. I've never seen a phrurolithid in person before and am SUPER excited to have found this!!
Came running out when I disturbed leaf litter under the natural gas meter. I DIDN'T KNOW WE HAD THESE IN UTAH, AND I AM ECSTATIC TO HAVE FOUND THIS!!!! I have never seen one in person, much less right outside my own front door! Happy dance!!
