I am changing the identification of this species based on determination by a biologist with the North Carolina Wildlife Commission who just informed me they think I have the Blue Ridge Gray-cheeked at this location. Almost all of these observations were noted on or near north facing shaded rock outcroppings in the western end of the Swannanoa Mountain Range in Buncombe County (NE of US 74A, but south of I-40 & the Swannanoa River)
