Salt Point State Park, near Central Trail. Mixed confier/hardwood coastal forest; Sequoia sempervirens, Abies grandis, Pseudotsuga menziesii, Notholithocarpus densiflorus, Pinus muricata, Arbutus menziesii
Growing on fallen Notholithocarpus densiflorus log
White to off white pleurotoid, ruffled margin, white, close to subdistant lamellae, laterally attached stipe, some with a central stipe!
Smell slightly sweet
Taste indistinct
No KOH

Description

Found in coastal conifer/hardwood mixed forest, Salt Point State Park, Stump Beach Trail
Fruiting from the base of a dead, standing Notholithocarpus densiflorus right off the side of trail
White pleurotoid, fan shaped, lamellae decurrent, closely spaced radiating from a laterally attached stipe
Taste indistinct
Smell slightly floral, pleasant
No KOH

Description

Stipe texture and pileus shape of younger ones made me think Mycena but probably not. Xeromphalina? Fruiting from soil in streambank with Abies magnifica and Pinus jeffreyi nearby. KOH brown. Odorless. Chrysomphalina aurantiaca and Galerina sp. in close proximity. KOH brown. Odorless.
