Description
ID by John E. Randall, who was co-author of the original description in 1996. The species name means 'yellow eye' - that and the pale nose are distinguishing characters of this small moray.

ID: distance honeycomb or “laced” pattern and coloration
Fun Fact: hide in crevices in the day with just the front 20-40% of their body showing.
