Wonderful to catch in full bloom
Observed wandering across the path among scrub and Manuka. The first one I’ve ever seen in the wild up close.
A single specimen in flower. Happy that this specimen is C. bartlettii, as the back of column is dark coloured and the callii stalks are margenta. The sepals are also obtuse compared to the apiculate sepals of C. variegata.
