Bug #30 for Sam's "20 Bug Challenge".
What a spectacular evening with folks at Lick Creek Park! We set up about 8 stations all around this loop of this really incredible park. Quite a few cool bugs showed up. :)
What a spectacular day today! I was lucky enough to spend some time out in the field with THE bouteloua -- cassi! :)
Our first stop was this phenomenally interesting restoration spot with some really interesting slab-dump geology! :)
The location is exact.
The turtle was in good condition. It was hanging out on the curb, next to the grass.
There are some small woods and lawns around where I guess the turtle lives.
