This is a species of Greater Fritillary butterflies. I'm not sure which one. (I enjoy the photo of the butterfly taking off from the Swamp Milkweed blossoms.) Found in my backyard.

Description

captured video of these two. they were necturing near some milkweed when I first noticed them. then the faded one was chasing the brighter one around this primrose. faded one defo was male, but couldnt get a great view of the brighter one - maybe two males fighting? maybe courtship?
