Patrones a rayas de color negro en su cuerpo, pero coloración principal presentaba ser amarillenta con ojos color café oscuro casi negro, su comportamiento parecía representar que buscaba alimento.

en estructuras conformadas por barro en ambientes silvestres calidos con poca humedad.
Duranta erecta es una especie de arbusto perteneciente a la familia Verbenaceae, distribuida desde México a América del Sur y las Antillas. Es ampliamente cultivada como planta ornamental en jardines tropicales y subtropicales de todo el mundo, y se ha convertido en naturalizado en muchos lugares.
