Small flower heads, about 1/4” wide. Three leaflets per leaf, with the middle leaflet having a stem. The stem is red and pubescent.
First observed under a dried leaf. When disturbed keep front limb straight pointing forward as shown in the first picture.
A golden brown color spider. Red color patches can be observed in the body. Spines can be observed in the legs. About 2cm in diameter.
This species was found in a rarely maintaining shrub of a "Kandyan forest garden" and there some other members closely too...
Mussels on the beach at Conference House Park
This mouse was seen at the top Piduruthalagala mountain, Sri Lanka. At a height of more than 2500m. I suspect its a Sri lankan mountain rat [Rattus montanus] නෙලූ මීයා.
