Phylum Arthropoda, Class Insecta, Order Diptera ; saw many individuals
I’m changing to Aedes albopictus based on a suggestion from an Entomology group and the suggestion here. That seems right.
Absolutely everywhere
This bug was found in a wetland area. It was about 3/4 of an inch across and it has six legs. They are found in various places around the world and almost everywhere in the United States.
