The tree I observed was planted in a residential landscaped garden, southfacing against a building.
15-20ft Male
Male tree , approx 25' tall, north side of house. Sample taken fron east side branch.

It is a female tree, as it bears yellow fruits (seeds) on the upper branches.
Female Ginkgo Tree. In the park. There were about a half-dozen Ginkgo trees in the area but this seemed to be the only female.
North side of street. Female tree.

Curator of Arboretum confirms all other Ginkgo's are male - male parts not showing this time of year.
