First one of the year for me! Stayed still long enough for me to snap some quick shots, a rare interaction between me and this species.

I believe the species is right. Cool to see another type of native iris. Was growing close to the water's edge.

Saw a few in bloom right along the lake's edge today.

One of the largest ones seen for the day. The first one seen out in the open as well. All the rain drove them out today which made me happy.
