Gulf Fritillary, Dione vanillae, or also known as passion butterfly. This adult butterfly has fascinating bright, striking orange wings with black markings around, including black spots and streaks that gives a distinctive pattern with a brown hue. It also has a splash of white that is scattered around the wings and head. The thorax of the butterfly is fuzzy and brown, including long antennas. This butterfly was found at nearby arboretum park, that was staying still on a leaf, with nearby sticks around on a warm climate day.
