Russell describes the area in which the survey team (E. R. Hall's Mammals of Nevada) trapped and collected marmots and other mammals on 12-14 May 1936. Note that the "3 mi. E Reno" is not accurate (the distance is more like 5 miles). The location pinned in this observation is derived from Russell's description of the area in which the team conducted their collection efforts.
