Interesting to find a small herd of javelina all the way up here in the pine forest

Large numbers singing in the shallow east end of the lake. This one cooperated well for a recording (though it wouldn't show itself).

Capture date not known.

Female Blue-winged Teal captured by a Common Snapping Turtle and ultimately pulled underwater and presumably consumed.

@jnstuart this appeared to be a large colony of BTPDs on both sides of highway. You can see it on the iNat map imagery.
