On the left. Similar to X.montana but that species is rare in western WA
Location: Evergreen State College, C-Lot, Olympia, WA. Lat- 47.0731 degrees N, 122.9740 degrees W. Growing tufted, on a fallen conifer branch among other more tightly oppressed lichen, sitting in fallen leaves. Plant associations: Pseudotsuga menziesii, Gaultheria shallon. Elevation about 70m. Substrate: tree/bark.

On Thuja plicata. Very small, tough, with white margin but not exactly lecanorene. ID tenative.

Found on Evergreen Campus. In B lot. Found on fallen branch. Several other species also attached. Soralia present. 46 degrees and raining.

found on Acer circinatum trunk at The Evergreen State College parking lot. Weather was around 55 degrees and dry, partially sunny. Plant associations include Gaultheria shallon, Vaccinium ovatum and Mahonia nervosa along with Acer macrophyllum and many conifer trees.
