Habitat: Growing from soil under mixed forest
Description: Light reddish-brown cap becoming white at margins, with yellowish-brown warts across entire cap. Cap 3-6cm across, stipe 5-10cm tall. Stipe is white, with a reddish-brown base that is slightly bulbous. Membranous partial veil on stipe. Gills are slightly attached, white, and crowded. Cap and stipe bruise dark red-brown after handling. Spores amyloid. Mycorrhizal.
