Description

Often see these jumping out of the water when the tide is low and still receding. I'm not up on fish identification at all unfortunately, but as I managed to snap a pic of one today - any chance anyone could identify it? Curious to know - thanks. Some looked to be jumping up to a metre out of the water. Best guess on size is perhaps 40cm long - decent sized fish, and a good splash on re-entering the water.
