Very sadly the kids found this dead owl at the back of their school

Quite an unusual find here, as not common in immediate area.

The lagoon appears to be quite anaerobic, as the water was black and smelled strongly of sulphur.

As blue as blue can be, in the sheltered morning sun.

Caught up in the mangroves at low tide, but there is a strong chance that it will be refloated by the incoming high tide, arriving shortly.
