Road cruised! This one was almost 2 feet long with a complete tail that had no breakage. First time seeing Glass lizards in this spot.

Description

A second one! This one was found only a few minutes later while we were crossing the road the other direction. It was less than a foot long with a tiny bit of tail regrowth. It was found in almost the exact same spot as the first one, and was crossing the same direction. If I had to guess, it could be a male following a female (the larger one), but I honestly got no idea.

My lifer! Found the big fella basking on some fallen palmetto fronds. I gently placed it on the path for pictures. It had multiple scars, but it seems like they healed up.

Eating a Southern Toad! It was en-venomating it when I found it. It got scared and took off, came back half an hour later and started eating it head first. I backed off so it could finish.
