Description

Large tree growing in break in redwood canopy, 3-4 meters tall. Lower branches have developed foliage with more serrated edges as response to herbivory. Not flowering, but shows evidence of past fruiting. Growing in mix of rocky soil and detritus.

on a 20 degree incline next to the walking trail
stem length about 30cm however it does grow erect and parallel to the ground hovering about 6cm from the ground
