Interesting caterpillar found on a citrus tree. Around 1.2inches in length from head to vent, with dramatically ‘segmented’ appearance of light brown ‘spines’. Small mottled grey head, centre segment appears darners than the rest. Three rows of tiny claw legs at the front by the head, with four cup feet at the back end of the body.
Juvenile katydid found on citrus tree in orchard. Uniform green all over, with short abdomen and underdeveloped wings. Pale whitish stripe running from the eye to the end of the abdomen vent. Long, thin straight antennae.
Boldly striped fly found around a small citrus orchard. Around the size of a housefly, with a more elongated body and wings. Bright black and white horizontal stripes all up the body like a bee, with big reddish brown eyes.
