Description

Found growing out of moss on a costal pine. Nearby vegetation is sedge. Later found to be UV- and P+R with brown apotheosis and shallow cups forming on ponderosa tips.

Was found on a fallen log in squaring park (not exactly sure what kind)
There are hemlock and big leaf maples as overstock.
It's moist out/a shaded area
There's moss, clay like dirt, ivy, tree debree on the geound

Description

Coll# F3, iNaturalist #Mu3. Found by douglas fir by the chain suspended balance log near the soccer field. Exudes yellow goopy substance. Bruises brown. Poreous. Grew alone. Weather was cool.

Description

This fungi was found on a big maple leaf among leaf litter at the Evergreen State College (elevation 200ft), the temperature was about 65 degrees. The species is scattered in spots around the leaf, and it looks like tiny black specks surrounded by a green ring.

Description

Growing from soil with Douglas fir and western hemlock over story and an abundance of bracken fern understory.

The grayish brown cracked cap is velvety and dry. The cap margin and stipe base have pinkish red tints, the pores are yellow and irregular. There is also a look alike Boletus truncatus, which can be distinguished by looking at the spores, which are truncate on one end.
