I staked out the spot around dusk, nothing of note on the wing until it got quite dark, when one or more WF darners began zipping up and down the creek, low over the water. A reasonable amount of water was flowing through this rocky creek at the time. Not many other odes around really.
This was the last time that I checked for Wide-faced Darners at this, or any other spot, this season.
