Eating up the Aristolochia californica!
In 2015 we spent a few hours doing a short survey of Whiskeytown Lake, during which we found 14 species of herps including possibly the southwesternmost extent of the "shastae" Black Salamander population. Three years later the devastating Carr Fire burned through the entire area.
